Time flies and how much have I done?

Thursday, October 15, 2009

Time flies.

How do most of you perceive this age old sayings?

I personally feels that time passes by very quickly.

Do you have enough time to finish what you have planned?

Or it’s never enough and all you know the next thing, its 12 midnight!

Yet another day has gone by.

Day by day and we are now in the last 2 1/2 months of this year.

We have come a long way, since New Year.

- How many or how little have you accomplished so far?

- Have you had plans to achieve your goals? If so, are you anywhere near your path to success?

- Did you make a New Year resolution this year? If so, how far are you from your resolution?

- What have you done to change for a better?

- When is the last time you call your parents? How often have you met?

- Have you live to the fullest so far?

- Are you contented?

The definition of life contentment varies for everyone.

Even between husband and wife, like hubby and me.

Ideally, there would be 'His plan', 'Her plan' & 'Our plan'.

Hoping to fulfill personal contentment and hoping for a better future for the family as well.

We make plans for a better life, and to prepare for the worst.

But really, it’s easier to say, than plan, let alone do.

But what comes to your door step for free? You got to work on it to get it.

Ingredients you need:

Time to think

Time to plan

A Heart to do

- Everyone has 24hours a day.

- Everyone has a heart unless they are dead.

So what's stopping you?

How bad a plan could be than no plans at all?

Failing to plan is planning to fail.

This is my new motto to fulfill my dreams.

"Leave footprints that lead to tomorrow's success."

I want to look at the trails one day with no regrets, contented, dreams and goals fulfilled.

I do not want to look back down the road one day, and found my footprints lead no where.

You’re my precious

Saturday, July 5, 2008

My parents, grandma and aunt brought me to this jewellery shop and bought me gold, diamond, and white gold accessories which I not normally wear (especially gold), but it’s a must to have some when you are going to be a bride.

“This is to tell that you are our family’s precious jewel.”

It is not cheap to get married! Is not like signing the papers, have a small dinner with family and relatives, and…Yeah! we are married. Why do we need all this extra stuff, which also cost a bomb, and most of it, is just for showing off and keep people’s mouth shut and for display only. I will be more than happy to wear just the wedding band and the all-important rock.

Chinese wedding…hmm…

Tooth Wise

Friday, July 4, 2008

Did you ever feel that you are too wise that you need to pull out your wisdom tooth? Well, I did! I told Doreen I need to extract 3 wisdoms to be the same level as everyone else when she ask me about my never ending wisdom tooth extraction.

Attention:
If you are reading this, do not do anything like this just to fit in with your peeps; the true peeps will always love you no matter what your level is.

Right my dears…although I am will not be as brilliant as before.

Inseparable…

Thursday, July 3, 2008

Basically we are together most of the time; minus the time we spend sleeping, toilet-ing and bathroom-ing per day, we roughly see each other 14 to 15 hours each day. How do we manage? We work in the same company and stayed under the same roof.
When do we not see each other? When we are back to our hometowns and sometimes with our own friends, you know la ladies night and all. But we still go back to our hometowns together. He would normally drop me off in Muar and continue his journey back to Pontian, by car of course!

Today would be an exception, I be leaving him alone in KL for 4 days and 4 nights. I am back home for my dental surgery. I will miss the morning glimpse of him at least this few days.

Why I am marrying him

Tuesday, July 1, 2008

So folks, just for the record, Nope… no… I’m not pregnant. That’s definitely not the reason why we are tying the knot.

The Reason is something invisible, something magical, something special and something irreplaceable, and something only we both would know. And when The Reason starts to overflow and still growing more each day, we definitely need an upgrade!

Love should be the common word, or more than Love should roughly fit my descriptions of The Reason, and Legally in Love is to describe the papers we need to sign for the upgrade.

But no matter how many reasons I gave on 'why I m marrying him' they still can't beat the only reason 'why I m not marrying him' that is
"I just can't find no reason not to marry him."

A little luck with shopping please

Sunday, June 29, 2008

I always had not much luck when it comes to shopping with a purpose - with a list of ‘must buy’ things. I will somehow see something else not in the list. Like most of my purpose shopping, I will allocate an amount of money, and wish that the money could be exchange with the things I need. That will seldom be the case. Do you know that feeling?

Like today, I went out shopping for my wedding needs with my sis, no luck with shoes and the dress for the marriage registration. Ended up buying fake eyelashes, a mini-skirt and a bag!

Now I have decided to give the new bag a purpose on my wedding day; used it to put my stuff, presents n red packets.

Hmmm… My shopping luck wasn’t that bad after all!

Are you pregnant?

Saturday, June 28, 2008

It’s been a few days that I have spread the wedding news to my most of friends but only the closest knew bout the date we picked.

So, Doreen decided to call me “Eh, wanna ask you something.” Feels like a question she has kept inside when I told her the good news, and finally can’t stand it anymore.
“Hmm?” I said, knowing what she's going to ask.
“Are you pregnant?” saying in a very cheeky manner.

Hmm… Hope I wont have to explain myself too many times.
