What a pleasant surprise

As we were happily taking our own sweet time planning for the wedding that has yet to have a date next year…while enjoying our buy 5 free 5 shushi, we heard from Moon, my future sister-in law that my future mother-in law said the best date will be on the 15th of the eight month of the lunar calendar, that’s on moon cake festival (14th September).
Wow… come to think of it… beautiful moonlight on our wedding dinner…how romantic. But at the time we heard about the date, our 1st reaction was not how romatic it is but… “So fast! This year's mooncake! Oh my goodness…do we have enough time to prepare the perfect wedding?”

Oh yes, this year it is, and it’s two months and 3 weeks from now!
“Isn’t there a better and later date like in November or December?”

What to do,we are Chinese. So, we had our lunar birth date and both our parents’ birth date to match… Pick, pick, pick… and Walla! The best date! Sunday, September 14th 2008 it is!
